Tina-Ann Kerr Thompson, MD
Tina-Ann Kerr Thompson, MD spent most of her life in Hartford,
CT. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at Yale University. After graduating
from Boston University School of Medicine, she completed the Emory Family Medicine
Residency Program . She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine.
She is a member of the Georgia and American Association of Family Practice. She
serves as a preceptor for medical students from Emory University and Mercer
School of Medicine. Dr. Thompson married to Joseph Thompson, MD and together they have
completed their family with a young son and daughter.

Janice C. Lim, MD
Dr. Janice Lim, a Stone Mountain native, graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology from Yale University. She attended Emory University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Family Practice at Atlanta Medical Center. Dr. Lim is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the Georgia and American Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Lim enjoys playing sports, spending time with her husband and two young children, and serving in her church.

Thomas B. Parrott, MD
Dr. Thomas B. Parrott was born in Miami, Florida and graduated from both undergraduate and medical school at the University of Miami. After 4 years in the USAir Force, he completed a family medicine residency in Johnson City, New York and remains board certified in Family Medicine. He has recently moved to Sandy Springs to be close to family after practicing for 33 years in White River Junction, Vermont.
He has been a preceptor for students of Dartmouth Medical School and plans to teach students from Emory and Mercer schools of Medicine as well. He continues to be an active member of the Georgia chapter of the American Academy of Family Practice. In his spare time he loves to spend time with his wife, Margaret, and family which include three grandchildren.
We will begin scheduling appointments for him at the end of March.

Joseph E. Thompson Jr., MD
Joseph E. Thompson Jr., MD is a Decatur,
Georgia native. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at Morehouse College
and his Medical Degree at Morehouse School of Medicine. He completed a three year
residency program in General Adult Psychiatry and a two year fellowship program
in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Emory University. He is a member of the American
Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and is board certified in child, adolescent and adult psychology.
Dr. Thompson provides a variety of psychiatric
services, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, play therapy, cognitive behavioral
therapy, and medication evaluation and management.
Dr. Thompson is not formally
affiliated with Rockbridge Family Medicine, but does maintain an office here and
schedules his own patients. He can be reached at

Markebba Skylark, PA-C
Markebba Skylark, PA-C is a native of Columbus, Georgia but has
lived in the Atlanta area for most of her life. She received her Bachelor of Science
degree from Georgia State University. She later complete her Physician Assistant
training at South University in Savannah, Georgia. She is a member of the American
and Georgia Academy of Physician Assistants. Markebba is also a founding member
of the Georgia African American Midlevel Association. In her spare time, she enjoys
reading and spending time with her daughter.

Daniel J. McCarthy, MMSc, PA-C
Daniel J. McCarthy, MMSc, PA-C is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine, Physicians Assistant Program Master of Science. He was a Petty Officer Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Physicians Assistants. His background covers interventional radiology and general orthopedics.
He lives in the Smyrna area with his wife, and he enjoys, cycling, being outdoors and spending time with his family.
